ReplyDeleteThere's nothing that makes a fence prettier than having flowers growing through it. I love this photo...it reminds me of a similar fence along the bike path/walking path that we walk along in Portland Maine along the waterfront. It has wild roses growing through it all summer long.
ReplyDeleteLove the gorgeous color of the flowers in the background. Happy Valentines day!
ReplyDeleteThe rusted iron posts, the brick walkway, the flowers - a meshing together of lovliness!

ReplyDeleteThis fence reminds me of a fence from the neighborhood where my husband and I first lived in the early years of our marriage. Thanks for the memory.
ReplyDeleteThese old iron fences are just perfect to "prop" up all the flowers and shrubs behind it. Love the graceful caps or whatever the top thingeys are called in architectural jargon.
ReplyDeleteAnd happy V-day to you my friend!
BTW, I have a Friday Fence post (ha!) up, but Mr. Linky is punishing me for being late. Will keep trying to link. :-)
