I'm going to have to go with butterfly too. Generally butterflies are out during the day and moths at night. Great capture whichever it is. Love the header!
Moths have furry bodies. Butterflies don't. I went to a butterfly exhibition at the Ft. Worth Botanic Garden and that's what I read and saw. Yours looks furry and beautiful. xo Jenny
How pretty and delicate. Don't know if it's moth or butterfly, but I have a whole house full of "millers" that have come in from the cool weather. Nasty things--hate it when they fall in my coffee cup. Provides amusement for Chet though. . .
I am voting for "moth" - but whatever it is, I love the shot! Nice macro!
ReplyDeleteI will say moth too, great macro shot. Have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteMy vote would be some kind of moth. Beautiful shot! Love your header, too!
ReplyDeleteI actually think it's a butterfly ....maybe a type of dusky wing or skipper. Whatever it is - it is a BEAUTY!
