I am loving my new AF-s Nikkor 50mm 1.18G lens...gives great Bokeh n wonderful for portraits.
My sweet Grans..are always happy to smile for the camera..this was just a test shot..I need lots of practice. I think I am going to have lots of fun with my new toy!

Think I'm happy with decision to stick with my point and shoot for now instead of trying to learn a new camera before trip to Russia first of September but then I see the quality of your photos. . .Don't get me wrong, I know that's it's more the photographer than the camera but still. . .:-)

ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome lens, Jan! Canon has one very similar. 50mm's are often overlooked lenses, but you can get great compositions and photos with them. Yours are good examples!
